Brian Walshe reported Ana Walshe, 39, missing from Cohasset, Massachusetts. Her employer also reported her missing that day. According to media reports Ana was reported missing three day after New Year’s Day, when she was last seen. The woman is being sought by law enforcement officers in Massachusetts. According to the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office, Ana Walshe (46), was detained by police in Cohasset on Sunday for allegedly misleading police.
According to NewsCenter 5 friends, Walshe travels to Washington, D.C. to work at Tishman Speyer, a real estate firm she joined last year. According to Ana’s family member who spoke to Cohasset police, Walshe was allegedly riding a rideshare from her home to Boston Logan International Airport to catch an early flight to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on January 1.
According to every airline confirmation, Walshe didn’t board any plane this week. The police chief said that she was not confirmed by any carrier. Walshe was scheduled to travel from Boston to Washington on January 3, but Quigley said she didn’t travel on that flight. The Metropolitan Police Department searched the Washington townhouse and found no trace of Walshe.
While police searched for Walshe, a fire broke out at Walshe’s old house at 725 Jerusalem Road in Cohasset. According to authorities, three people and an infant left the house in safety. Quigley confirmed that there was a link. He said that Walshe’s disappearance and the fire were both possible connections.
Ana’s husband was taken into police custody after he misled investigators investigating Ana’s disappearance. Brian Walshe will be appearing in Quincy District Court on Monday. The US District Court in 2018 charged Brian Walshe with fraud for selling two fake Andy Warhol artworks. After pleading guilty to several crimes in 2021, he was placed in home confinement and awaits punishment.
Ana Walshe, 39 years old, is from Cohasset, Massachusetts. Together, she and her husband live with their three sons. Ana has three boys between the ages 2 and 6. Multiple media outlets have quoted Ana Walshe’s height and weight as being around 5 feet 2 inches. According to police, she has olive skin with brown eyes and brown hair.
Police were told by a family member that Walshe was last seen at her Cohasset residence between 4 and 5 AM on New Year’s Day. Quigley, chief of police, also stated that Walshe’s phone has been disconnected since January 1st and that her debit and credit cards have not been active since New Year’s Day.
The area near Walshe’s home was searched by a local police team and the Massachusetts State Police Special Emergency Response Team. The search was called off in the middle of the night and resumed the following morning. Twenty officers from the MSP Special Emergency Response Team (a special force that is trained in search-and-rescue operations) searched for Walshe in the woods near Walshe’s house, but they found no trace.
