After Guns N’ roses singer Axlrose threw a microphone at her face, a woman in Adelaide was left bleeding profusely.
After the incident at Adelaide Oval on Tuesday night (the Adelaide Advertiser reports), Rebecca Howe suffered two black eyes and a bust nose.
Rose threw the microphone in the crowd after the band’s last song, Take Me Down to Paradise City. However, it had an impact on Ms. Howe and caused her nosebleed.
“I was in Diamond Standing so it wasn’t even at the front and it was the last song, Take me Down To Paradise City,” Ms. Howe stated.
“He made a bow, then he aimed the microphone at the crowd… then bang! Right on my nose bridge!”
Ms. Howe became hyperventilating while another person caught the microphone.
She said, “My mind went, Oh my God! My face is caved-in!”
Ms. Howe said that although an off-duty officer assisted her in moving her to the side, the incident could have been fatal.
“What if it was just a few inches to the left or right? She said, “I could have lost one eye… What if it hit me in my mouth and broke my teeth?”
“If my head was turned, and it hit me in temple, it could’ve killed me.”
News.com.au reached out to Guns N’ roses tour spokesperson for comment.
Rose attacked an Australian fan who attempted to record drone footage from the Gold Coast concert earlier this week.
He said, “To anonymous Mr. Drone flyer you’re a F-ing C-t,” on stage.
Later, he shared a lengthy statement via Twitter.
“Had some drones in that leg. “Last night (Gold Coast Australia), was probably the most intrusive,” read the statement.
“Was a little distracting because obviously someone thought that it was OK to do that, but it also came that close in front the stage and then over on the stage.
According to police, it occurs more frequently than usual lately, especially when it comes to sporting events.”
Rose asked that people refrain from bringing drones into future concerts.
He wrote, “We understand it can be (sic) fun to get ur drone bootsleg vid but it would be appreciated if anyone who plans to become a drone pirate took fans n the band into consideration and played with w/ur toys elsewhere.”
The band’s current Australia/New Zealand tour ends on December 10th. Guns N’ Roses will be the headliner at Adelaide’s BST Hyde Park concert.
