
Chandigarh, India, December 9, 2009 (ANI): TiE Chandigarh has partnered with the Israeli mission in India to mentor Indian startups in sustainability and to help them develop their business skills.
“Yesterday, @israelinindia and @TiEChandigarh concluded the all-India contest to mentor Indian startups within the field of Sustainability,” the Israeli mission in India tweeted.
The business as well as the economic ties were further strengthened by this project. This was also a special occasion because the two countries are celebrating 30 years in full diplomatic relations.
The project was concluded by an event in Chandigarh on December 8, during which five participants were present. Indian startups They were presented Business Ideas in the presence Naor Gilon, the Israeli ambassador to India.
After a three-month process, these startups were selected. The competition was an all-India contest that attracted more than 100 applicants.
This project had two goals: to identify and mentor aspiring startups in sustainability through seminars and workshops held by Indian and Israeli entrepreneurs. The ultimate goal was to raise awareness about sustainability within the technology field and business within the local ecosystem.
