
Microsoft announced in September that Swiftkey would be discontinued for iOS and will instead concentrate on the Android version. The company announced that it had ended app support and pulled it from the Apple App Store earlier in the month.
In an unprecedented move, the tech giant seems to have brought back Swiftkey iOS-powered devices in a surprising move. According to Microsoft’s Caitlin ROULST, the tech giant stated that SwiftKey iOS was relisted on Apple App Store based on customer feedback.
Swiftkey is now back on iOS. The last update was August 11, 2021. Vishnu Nath, Microsoft’s Vice President of OneNote and Office, recently suggested in a tweet Swiftkey for iOS may soon get new features.
“We have ended support for Microsoft SwiftKey iOS. We appreciate you using our product. For more information on managing your data, please visit data.swiftkey.com In an earlier announcement, the company stated that the app would be removed from the App Store by October 5, 2022.
Even though we don’t know what Microsoft has in store for us, we expect Microsoft to improve the typing experience on Apple phones. There aren’t many third-party apps that can be used with the operating system. SwiftKey is the best keyboard app available, both on iPhone and Android.
