
New leaks reveal details and designs for Motorola’s upcoming smartphone, the Motorola ThinkPhone. According to a tipter, the handset is expected to be powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon8+ Gen 1 SoC. A Motorola ThinkPhone with full-HD+ display and 144Hz refresh rate is expected to be available. Another reliable tipter posted images of the device on Twitter.
Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) has provided tips that the Motorola ThinkPhone will be available in both 8GB and 12GB RAM versions. A Motorola handset is expected to have 512GB internal storage and 128GB or 256GB options.
The tipster detailed the specifications of the ThinkPhone’s camera in his tweet Tuesday. The smartphone features a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and a 13-megapixel secondary cam. A 2-megapixel tertiary camera is also included. A 32-megapixel front camera is also included in the ThinkPhone.
Other specs include a 5,000mAh lithium battery with 68W fast charge support, 15W wireless charging capability and IP68 dust and waterproof rating.
Reliable tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks), posted images of a Motorola ThinkPhone-like handset in a separate Tweet. Images also show a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary lens. Images also showcase thin, symmetrical bezels with a cutout in the centre for the front camera. You can see the phone in black with carbon-fibre finish on the back and ThinkPhone branding.
Images of the forthcoming handset were also posted online earlier in the week. Reports said that the phone is expected to feature an aramid fibre inlay aluminium frame, measuring 158.76mmx74.38mmx8.26mm. The Moto Edge 40 Fusion or the Lenovo ThinkPhone were the names of earlier reports. Motorola has yet to announce a release date for the ThinkPhone.
