As Pakistan closed in on Pakistan’s initial innings total of 309/10, Harry Brook, England’s batter, scored his third century. England now have a 2-0 lead in the series and are determined to sweep the hosts.
Brooks flung Mohammad Wasim Jr.’s fifth ball towards deep middle-wicket in the 33rd over England’s first innings. He then ran two runs alongside Captain Ben Stokes. Brooks and Stokes tried to score an unlikely third run but Brooks turned his back towards his crease when he saw the ball coming towards him. Stokes was already sprinting towards the striker’s goal when he was run out.
