Xiaomi announced recently that the Redmi Note series had crossed the 300 million sales mark, making it one of the most loved names in the smartphone market. 72 million were sold in India.
Redmi Note 12 Series consists primarily of three models: the Redmi Note 12 5, Redmi Note 12 PRO, and the Redmi Note 12 Plus+.
Redmi Note 12 is the most affordable. The Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset powers the 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refreshrate. It has a 48MP main camera, and a 2MP sensor. An 8MP snapper is available for selfies. It has a capacity of 5,000mAh and supports fast charging at 33W.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G 5G and Note 12 Pro+ 5G have almost identical specifications except for the cameras and charging speeds. Both display a 6.67 inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh speed and Dolby Vision support. Both are powered by the Dimensity1080 chipset, and come with 5,000mAh batteries. Redmi Note 12 Pro supports 67W charging, while Pro+ offers 120W charging. Redmi Note 12 Pro comes with a 50MP+ 8MP +2MP rear camera system, while the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ offers a 200MP+ 8MP +2MP setup.
It is not yet clear if Indian models will have the same specifications as Chinese models.
